Rights

 All NDIS participants have the right to access safe and ethical supports and services.  

as an ndis participant you have the right to:

Choose who delivers your supports

and also how your supports are provided. You do not have to use just one provider for all your supports.

Not use a provider

if you feel that they are not acting in your best interests.

Know about conflict of interests

You can ask a provider if they have a conflict of interest in providing your support. Providers are required to let you know if there is a conflict of interest.

Not feel pressured

to buy services or use supports that you do not want or need.

Pay for supports at a fair and reasonable rate

the NDIS Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits must be followed by your provider if you are NDIA-managed or plan-managed.

Decide what personal information you give

to a provider so they can deliver your supports.

To Complain

 People with disability have the right to complain about the supports and services they receive.

- Or you can contact the Commonwealth Ombudsman
